iPhone 17 Pro Max has reduced its price to the lowest level since it went on sale in Vietnam
(Dan Tri) - iPhone 17 Pro Max is being adjusted to reduce its price as it enters the final stage of its life cycle. The 256GB version is currently priced from 35 million VND, the lowest price since the product went on sale in Vietnam.

According to PV Dan Tri's survey at retail systems, iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB version is being offered for sale at about 35 million VND, down 1 million VND compared to last month. This is the lowest price of this model since the time it opened for sale in the Vietnamese market.
Higher capacity versions are also throttled down. Specifically, the 512GB version costs about 41.5 million VND, the 1TB version is 48 million VND and the 2TB version is 60.5 million VND.
At some small-scale dealers or in promotional programs on e-commerce platforms, users can buy at a lower price of about 300,000-500,000 VND.
Even though it has entered the final stage of its life cycle, the reduction of iPhone 17 Pro Max is still quite modest. Currently, the product's selling price is only about 8% lower than when it opened for sale.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro Max 256GB version was reduced to about 29 million VND during the off-peak period, equivalent to a decrease of about 15% compared to the listed price. This shows that the iPhone 17 Pro Max holds its price significantly better than its predecessor.
According to a representative of Hoang Ha Mobile, one of the reasons why the price of iPhone 17 Pro Max decreased slowly is that the cost of components, especially RAM and processor chips, is still high in the context of not really abundant supply. This directly affects production costs as well as product supply capacity.
Not only does the iPhone 17 Pro Max maintain a good price, it also maintains stable purchasing power. Dealers said sales of this model did not decline compared to iPhone 16 Pro Max in the same period, despite the price being always among the highest on the market.
"In the high-end segment, price is still one of the factors affecting purchasing decisions, but not the only factor. Users are also interested in the camera system, performance, battery life and long-term use," said Minh Tuan Mobile representative.
According to statistics from retail systems, iPhone 17 Pro Max continues to account for the largest proportion of total iPhone sales in Vietnam. Among them, the two memory versions of 256GB and 512GB are chosen by users the most thanks to the balance between price and usage needs.
Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Yen, Director of Apple products at Di Dong Viet, said that the price movement of each generation of iPhone depends on many factors such as supply, component costs, Apple's policies and market situation.
"Even though it has entered the final stage of its life cycle, sales of iPhone 17 Pro Max still remain stable, showing the appeal of the product in the high-end smartphone segment," Ms. Yen shared.
