iPhone 17 Pro Max and other product series may be discontinued by Apple next week

According to 9to5mac, products that may be on the list of being discontinued this time include:

- iPhone 17 Pro

- iPhone 17 Pro Max

- iPhone 16

- iPhone 16 Plus

- Apple Watch Series 11

- Apple Watch Ultra 3

- AirPods 4

- AirPods 4 supports active noise cancellation

- Apple TV 4K (3rd generation)

- HomePod mini (1st generation)

- HomePod (2nd generation)

At the "Surprise and shine" event taking place on September 9, Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and its first folding screen iPhone. Meanwhile, the standard iPhone 18 version will launch in early 2027.

In addition, Apple can also introduce a series of other products such as Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, the new generation Apple TV 4K and an updated version of HomePod mini.

Besides the new hardware devices, the company will also announce the official release date of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate and other software updates.
