iPhone 17 price increases before iPhone 18 Pro Max launch
(Dan Tri) - In the Vietnamese market, iPhone 17 has stable sales growth even without price reduction.
Survey at some Apple authorized dealers in Vietnam, iPhone 17 is being offered for sale at a price of 24.5 million VND for the 256GB version. This price is 700,000 VND higher than the previous period.

Thus, the price of iPhone 17 only decreased by 2% after nearly a year of being on shelves in the Vietnamese market. This shows the incredible ability to keep the price of an Apple product.
"Since its launch, iPhone 17 has almost not experienced any significant price reductions. However, iPhone 17 sales still tend to grow steadily and are the preferred choice of Vietnamese consumers in the segment," shared Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Yen, Apple product manager at Mobile Vietnam.
According to a report from Counterpoint Research, iPhone 17 was the best-selling smartphone model in the world in the second quarter. This product line accounts for 6% of smartphones sold in the world.
On a global scale, iPhone 17 sales outperform iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max versions. However, this shopping trend is somewhat different in the Vietnamese market.
Statistics from dealers show that iPhone 17 Pro Max is the best-selling device in the entire iPhone product line in Vietnam. In many systems, the product accounts for 50-70% of iPhone sales. At the same time, this is also the model that contributes largely to the revenue of the entire iPhone industry.

"When considering sales power, the standard version of iPhone 17 is more popular with users than the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone Air. However, the most advanced iPhone 17 Pro Max model is still the top choice," Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, CellphoneS media representative, shared.
In the same price segment, iPhone 17 currently competes with its own "homegrown chicken", the iPhone Air model. However, dealers said the iPhone 17 product line still receives more attention.
"In terms of total device sales, iPhone 17 still prevails over iPhone Air thanks to its ability to meet the needs of a broader customer group. The device also brings a balance between price, features and overall usage experience," said Minh Tuan Mobile representative.
