iPhone 18 Pro can be sold in Vietnam on September 18

According to a representative of a retail system, Vietnam will for the second consecutive year be in the first group of markets to sell the new generation iPhone. As usual, the company usually opens for sale on Friday of the week following the launch date, which is September 18. Some companies selling accessories for the iPhone 18 in Vietnam also revealed that they can only introduce products "from September 18", a sign confirming when the iPhone 18 series will hit shelves.

Macrumors website said that the new iPhone sales opening time on September 18 may be 3-5 hours earlier than usual. Last year, iPhone 17 began reaching Vietnamese users at 8:00 a.m. on September 19. Due to the time zone difference, Vietnam is also often on the list of early selling markets, before the US.

The first batch will likely only have iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max. The all-new folding iPhone model may go on sale later in late September while the standard iPhone 18 series, iPhone Air 2, will launch early next year.

One week before the opening date, Apple also began offering pre-orders on the online sales site as well as at domestic retail systems. The usual time will be Friday of launch week, but due to the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, ordering will move to Saturday, September 12. The company had a similar move with the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

Last year, iPhone 17 set a record with hundreds of thousands of orders on September 13. A representative of a large retail system at that time said that on average, there was a new Apple phone order every 40 seconds on the first day. The Pro and Pro Max lines are always of most interest to Vietnamese people.

At the event on September 9, in addition to the iPhone 18 Pro, 18 Pro Max and folding iPhone, the company may introduce 5 other products including the Apple Watch Series 12 smartwatch, Apple Watch Ultra 4, the new generation Apple TV 4K and smart speaker HomePod mini 2. Some sources predict that the company may launch its first smarthome device with a screen (HomePad).

The design of the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max is said to not change much but will have major camera upgrades, "best battery life of all iPhone lines", smaller Dynamic Island and four colors to choose from: dark red, black/gray, silver and light blue.
