iPhone 18 Pro Max may be in short supply in Vietnam until November
(Dan Tri) - For some color versions of iPhone 18 Pro Max, users may have to wait until November to receive the device because of limited supply.
Talking to Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, communications representative of CellphoneS system, said that during the first sale, iPhone 18 Pro Max quickly sold out of two color versions: Burgundy Red and Bang Thanh, especially the 256GB capacity option.
"The system is continuing to accept additional deposits for hot color versions. For the next batches, we will still pay deposits at the scheduled time with customers. For some versions, customers may have to wait until November to receive the device," Mr. Huy shared.

On September 18, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max duo went on sale in the Vietnamese market. According to dealers, the number of users interested in this new product line increased compared to the same period last year.
According to incomplete statistics, as of the morning of September 19, retail systems have received more than 318,000 orders for iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. This is equivalent to the amount of trillions of dong paid by Vietnamese users to buy new iPhones.
"The appearance of the new iPhone generation has created a huge wave of interest from the technology lover community in Vietnam. In the general picture of the market, the iPhone 18 Pro Max version continues to show its leading position when accounting for nearly 70% of the total number of orders," said Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, System Director of Minh Tuan Mobile.
Similar to previous years, iPhone 18 Pro Max continues to be the model that consumers in Vietnam are most interested in. In particular, the new Burgundy Red color version is the top priority choice.
The shortage also caused the price of the Burgundy Red iPhone 18 Pro Max to increase in the secondary market. On iPhone exchange groups, many people have offered to resell the early purchase of iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in Burgundy Red. The asking price is 6-10 million VND higher.

In fact, this situation has appeared over the past few years, especially every time Apple launches a new color iPhone. Taking advantage of the shortage of goods in the early stages of sale, many people have speculated on iPhones to make a profit.
"The two color versions, Burgundy Red and Bang Thanh, are the options that many people are most interested in at the moment. In particular, most users choose models with 256GB and 512GB storage capacity because of the accessible price," said Mobile America representative.
Besides the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max duo, the AirPods 5 wireless headset model is also on sale in the Vietnamese market with prices of 3.8 million VND for the standard version and 4.3 million VND for the version that supports wireless charging.
