iPhone 18 Pro Max appears to have color fading
(Dan Tri) - According to records from the New York Post and GSMArena, some users on Reddit and technology forums have responded to the fading phenomenon on the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
Specifically, the metal area around the lenses on the iPhone 18 Pro Max has quickly turned a lighter color than the overall back. This condition is mainly noted on the Burgundy Red and black versions. Meanwhile, the two silver and ice versions have not recorded the above problem.

"I noticed that the area around the lens looks a bit brighter and pinker than the rest of the case. The phone has no oil, dirt or dust on it. I cleaned that area very thoroughly. I also don't see any scratches, dents or physical damage," an iPhone 18 Pro Max user shared on Reddit.
Last year, Apple also encountered a similar problem with the iPhone 17 Pro Max product line. Many users have reported issues related to device discoloration after just a short period of use.
Currently, Apple has not provided any feedback on the above information. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max duo officially hit shelves from September 18. However, many problems were quickly recorded on these two devices.
According to MacRumors, some iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max users reported that their devices sometimes make unusual crunching sounds.
Users describe the sound as crunching, ticking, or random clicking. Many people said that the problem is mainly noted in the phone speaker. Worth mentioning, the above problem appeared on both iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models.
Some people hear this sound constantly, while others only hear it while using an app, scrolling a web page, when the keyboard appears, or when making a call over a cellular network.

Reports from users indicate that turning on/off airplane mode or quickly changing screen brightness can trigger the above issue.
Trước đó vào ngày 29/9, Apple đã phát hành bản cập nhật iOS 27.0.1 để khắc phục các vấn đề liên quan đến Face ID trên iPhone 18 Pro và iPhone 18 Pro Max. The issue may cause the device to reboot automatically when facial recognition fails.
According to information described in the operating system notes, Apple said the most serious error affects iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. In some cases, Face ID cannot identify the user.
Some cases recorded phones even stopping responding after facial recognition failed. The touch screen may be disabled, then the device restarts automatically.
