iPhone continues to be Apple's "golden egg-laying hen".

(Dan Tri) - Apple said that revenue of iPhone and Mac computers both recorded double-digit growth. At the same time, the company's net profit increased by 27% over the same period last year.
However, the iPad business recorded a decrease of 5% compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, the service business achieved revenue of 30.73 billion USD, up 12% over the same period in 2025.

In addition to reporting on business operations, Apple also issued a series of warnings about the challenges the company will face in the near future. Accordingly, supply scarcity and effects from exchange rates can seriously affect the company's operations.
Kevan Parekh, Apple's Chief Financial Officer, predicts that currency fluctuations will likely reduce Apple's revenue growth rate by about 2.5% next quarter.
Meanwhile, Apple CEO Tim Cook said limitations on component supply will greatly affect iPhones, iPads and Mac computers. Cook believes that flexibility in the supply chain is gradually becoming limited.
"Customer demand is increasingly high. However, the supply chain is gradually becoming less flexible. This is not a problem of partners or suppliers. The cause is the strong iPhone and Mac product upgrade cycle, creating demand that exceeds our expectations," Cook shared.
The CEO said that Apple has had to pay more money for memory chip components in recent times. It is expected that this situation will continue for a long time. The company will try to offset some of the increased costs, but the memory chip issue remains unresolved.

Last June, Apple adjusted the selling prices of a series of products, including Mac computers and iPads. The company affirmed that it did not want to increase prices but was forced to do so because of cost pressures.
"Regarding the price issue, we were forced to increase prices. We are going through an unprecedented period when memory chip prices continue to grow exponentially," Apple CEO shared.
Cook did not comment on whether Apple plans to increase prices for the iPhone 18 Pro duo and the folding phone that the company is preparing to launch. However, most experts believe that product prices will increase.
