When will iPhone 17 Pro Max be out of stock in Vietnam?

(Dan Tri) - After announcing the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max product lines, Apple also silently removed the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max duo from its online store in the Vietnamese market.

This is Apple's familiar strategy every time the company introduces a new product. This move is intended to clear the market and pave the way for new devices to be ready to hit the shelves.

However, just because Apple stops selling a product line does not mean that device will immediately disappear from official store shelves. Talking to Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, CellphoneS media representative, said that the supply of this product is still maintained to serve market demand.

"Currently, there is no official information about when the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will be out of stock in the Vietnamese market. Many customers still choose iPhone 17 Pro Max instead of iPhone 18 Pro Max due to the price difference of up to 7 million VND, while the improvements are not too prominent," Mr. Huy said.

Meanwhile, Minh Tuan Mobile representative predicted that, with the current sales rate and distributed supply, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are likely to be out of stock by the end of March 2027.

Entering the final stage of their life cycle, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are continuously adjusting prices by dealers. Specifically, the 256GB version is currently priced at 32 million VND and 34.5 million VND, respectively, a decrease of 500,000 VND compared to before. The selling prices of the two products continue to be maintained after the iPhone 18 Pro Max goes on sale.

"After the iPhone 18 Pro Max hit the shelves, the system recorded a sharp increase in purchasing power for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, with sales increasing by about 50% over the same period.

iPhone 17 Pro Max is in short supply, the amount of additional stock has not been specifically determined. However, the current supply can still be maintained until early next year," Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Yen, Apple product manager at Di Dong Viet, shared.

iPhone 17 Pro Max is still considered one of the iPhone models that has been able to keep its price stable since it went on sale. After a year of opening for sale, the price of this product is only about 9% lower than the first days of its return to Vietnam.

During the same period, iPhone 16 Pro Max 256GB version dropped to about 29 million VND during the off-peak period, equivalent to a decrease of about 15% compared to the listed price.

Statistics from dealers also show that before the iPhone 18 Pro Max hit the shelves, the iPhone 17 Pro Max was the best-selling device in the iPhone product line in Vietnam. This product regularly accounts for 50-70% of iPhone sales. This is also the model that contributes largely to the revenue of the iPhone industry.
