Launching Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Festival 2026

This year's AI4VN is expected to be a notable step forward when shifting its focus to AI capable of autonomously planning, coordinating tools and performing tasks (AI agents) - a trend that is being considered the next stage of global AI development. The program is directed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, organized by VnExpress newspaper, with the companion of Hanoi National University and FPT Online.

Entering its 9th year, the event is considered by experts to contribute to shortening the gap between research and practical implementation of the field of AI in Vietnam. The program is not only a place to introduce technology but also promote AI application in practice.

AI4VN 2026 creates space for businesses to introduce solutions, expand cooperation and seek opportunities to develop, commercialize products, connect, and call for investment. The event also contributes to realizing the goal of making AI a driving force for growth in the spirit of Resolution 57 on developing science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.

AI continues to be one of the fastest growing areas of global technology. In 2025, 9 major technology corporations have invested a total of 122 billion USD in AI. Vietnam is also in the group of 40 countries with a high level of AI adoption, while the legal corridor for this field is continuing to be improved to promote sustainable development.

This year's event will have main activities including AI Summit, seminars, exhibitions, competitions... gathering representatives of ministries, branches, localities, technology businesses, AI startups, research institutes, investment funds and the technology development community. AI4VN also targets students, engineers, programmers and people interested in artificial intelligence, with activities to share trends, connect and experience technology.

Attendees will not only have access to new AI technologies but also have the opportunity to directly experience applications, participate in workshops, seminars and sharing and discussion sessions, and learn how to apply AI to solve real-life problems.

AI4VN 2025 takes place at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), attracting more than 1,300 live attendees, about 20 speakers and 50 domestic and foreign businesses.

This year's event is scheduled to take place in early November, at Hanoi National University.
