LG gram AI 2026 laptop launched in Vietnam

At the event in Ho Chi Minh City on July 3, LG Electronics representatives introduced a new laptop range including three versions: LG gram Pro AI, LG gram AI and LG gram Book AI, emphasizing the characteristic compact design and comprehensive AI performance.
According to information from the manufacturer, the trio of laptops uses aerominum alloy, which both increases aesthetics, is durable and flexible when moving. Specifically, this material helps reduce the machine's weight by up to 40 grams compared to the previous generation, while increasing scratch resistance by 135%. The product range weighs about 1,199 grams, is 12.4 mm thin and meets aeroplate design standards that meet US military MIL-STD-810H durability.

The company announced a product range integrating the Dual AI platform, balancing gram AI technology processed directly on the device (On-Device AI) and cloud computing power from Copilot+ PC. This resonance leads to a flexible working experience, helping users quickly solve search tasks, summarize information, and create even when offline.
"The direct data processing mechanism on the hardware of the three new versions also establishes a solid security 'shield', protecting personal information and important data," the company announced.
In addition, the LG gram Link ecosystem allows users to share documents and expand multi-device display space seamlessly across iOS, Android, Windows, webOS platforms. In addition, the ThinQ application integrates a series of features such as device locking, remote data deletion, and support for information protection when needed.
Specifically, the first version - LG gram Pro AI, was created to meet the requirements of modern leaders and businessmen. The company analyzed that the biggest challenge for this group of users is not just performance but optimizing the tight time budget in the constantly moving wheel.
With the above problem, the company for the first time added a new generation AMD Ryzen 7 processor option to the gram Pro AI line, besides Intel Core Ultra U7. The device is equipped with an AI processor (NPU) achieving 50 TOPS performance. Meanwhile, up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM memory can increase data transfer speed by 1.25 times, handle "huge" data files and maximize productivity with in-depth AI assistant.

Meanwhile, the second version - LG gram AI, is a cross between mobility and durable performance, "tailor-made" for groups that frequently move, work freely, and users who require fast processing speed. With a weight of 1,120 grams and a 14-inch screen, this is the lightest model in the new laptop range.
Hidden behind the thin and light design is the power from the Intel Core Ultra U5 processor and 72 Wh battery. Users can stay productive all day long in any location - from airport lounges to in-depth seminars - without worrying about battery life or luggage burden.
The third version - LG gram Book AI, opens up a large display space with a 15-inch screen, combining a titanium black metal design. The highlight of this line is the flexible performance expansion architecture (Expandable Performance) with two independent SSD hard drive slots, operating stably on the Intel Core Ultra5 processor platform.
According to the company's representative, the gram Book AI configuration meets the storage needs of learning, research projects and multimedia entertainment spaces. The device fully integrates the ecosystem including gram AI, LG gram Link and ThinQ.
Speaking at the launch event of the 2026 LG gram generation, Mr. Lee Woo Ho, Director of LG Electronics Vietnam's entertainment and information technology solutions industry, said the new laptop range marks a milestone in the group's strategy of "continuously perfecting optimal mobility" over the past decade.
"With the new aerominum material, we aim to break the barrier between weight and durability, creating a thin and light metal design while still ensuring durability, bringing unlimited work, creativity and connection experiences to users," said Mr. Lee Woo Ho.

LG Electronics has 74,000 employees and networks in most countries. The unit's four key business segments include: consumer electronics; entertainment and communication electronics; Green vehicles and solutions. In 2025, the group's total global revenue will reach 89,200 billion KRW.
