LG brings AI to the UltraGear OLED gaming monitor

LG announced two curved screen models UltraGear evo AI 45GX950B-B 45 inch size and 39GX950B-B 39 inch size, 21:9 ratio. Both are equipped with fourth-generation Tandem RGB OLED panels, WUHD resolution (5,120 x 2,160 pixels), 142 PPI pixel density, 800R curvature and ultra-thin bezel design on all four sides.

The new feature of the product lies in the integrated processor and three AI features. In particular, AI Upscaling analyzes low-resolution signal sources to increase the detail to near 5K2K standard without transferring all processing tasks to the GPU. AI Scene Optimization identifies groups of content and automatically adjusts color temperature, hue, brightness, and sharpness. AI Sound separates voices, effects, and background sounds, making details such as conversations or footsteps easier to recognize during the match.

Besides, the screen has a Dual-Mode feature that allows users to actively switch between 5K2K resolution, 165 Hz scan frequency with WFHD resolution, 330 Hz scan frequency with 0.03 ms response time.

New on LG's 2026 gaming monitor line is the third-generation Alpha AI 8 processor and webOS 26 operating system. Thanks to that, the screen can operate independently as a Smart TV without needing to connect to a computer. Users can watch movies via streaming applications or play online games via cloud gaming.

The device also inherits AI Picture Pro and AI Sound Pro features from LG's high-end TV line. The two monitors are also equipped with dual speaker systems with a capacity of 7 W. The USB-C port supports data transfer and reverse charging with a capacity of 65 W, meaning users can use the monitors to power PCs and gaming consoles, helping to minimize device placement space.

Besides two OLED gaming monitors, LG launched the 24.5-inch Full HD IPS 25G590B screen. This is the first gaming monitor in the world with a native scan frequency of 1,000 Hz at Full HD resolution, achieving a frame retention time of only 1 ms. The monitor is aimed at professional eSports athletes and FPS (first-person shooter) gamers. The compact stand helps optimize the area for mouse movements.

The LG UltraGear evo AI 45GX950B-B screen costs 51.9 million, the 39GX950B-B is 43.9 million, and the 25G590B model costs 25.9 million VND.
