Although the official date of commercialization of the service has not been announced, the registration system of Starlink (part of SpaceX Group, USA) has updated the address option in Vietnam.
This move also reveals the entire cost structure of satellite Internet services including monthly rates, terminal set specifications and accompanying commitment terms through the pre-order feature.
Accordingly, Starlink has provided detailed pricing in Vietnamese Dong (VND) for the family service package. Specifically, the monthly service fee is 1,711,100 VND/month; The cost of the terminal set (Standard 4X) is 10,269,900 VND.

Currently the service package for businesses has not been updated.
Recently, a reporter's own source said that Starlink Services Vietnam company is urgently preparing technical infrastructure to meet national telecommunications standards before entering the commercialization phase.
Starlink's global satellite map system also records that ground stations (Gateways) in Vietnam are under construction.
According to the license issued by the Radio Frequency Department to Starlink Services Vietnam, the company is allowed to establish and operate 4 strategic Gateway stations spread across the country.
In the first pilot phase, Starlink is limited to providing a maximum of 600,000 terminals in the Vietnamese market (equivalent to about 2.5% of the total number of existing fixed broadband subscribers).
The Department of Radio Frequency notes that when the service is officially commercialized, people using official services through subscriptions from licensed units will not have to apply for a license to use separate radio frequencies and equipment for the terminal.
However, users are required to use terminal devices that have been certified to comply with regulations and officially register for services with Starlink Services Vietnam Co., Ltd. It is illegal for users to arbitrarily bring a terminal device from abroad and then activate it via the roaming feature.
