Rumors about an upgraded version of the Sony FX3

According to the latest leaked information from YMCinema, Sony is preparing a completely new Cinema Line ILME-FX camera model, and this may not simply be an FX3 refresh like the FX3A. Device registration data from China shows that Sony calls this device ILME-FX. This is a Cinema Line product, not part of the regular Alpha mirrorless line. There are multiple registration codes involved (WW679476, WW789166, WW308784). An important change is the new battery NP-SA100, which first appeared on the Sony A7R VI, instead of the familiar NP-FZ100 on the FX3 and FX30. This suggests that the device may require higher capacity, suitable for powerful sensors, new processors, or in-depth recording features. USB-C PD 30W charging support is also mentioned, helping the device operate more durably during long shooting days, significantly improving the ability to provide continuous power.
