Famous leak account Yeux1122 posted an image of what is believed to be the screen protector of the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max released in September. In it, the Dynamic Island notch is clearly reduced compared to the iPhone 17 Pro as well as previous generations. The photo also shows that the standard iPhone 18, expected to be sold early next year, also inherits the new Dynamic Island design.

Previously, many sources from the supply chain said that Apple had difficulty shrinking the sensor cluster on the Pro line because the Face ID component hidden under the screen works slowly and inaccurately. However, the new component photos partly show that Apple has found a solution.

Apple plans to announce the iPhone 18 generation and folding phone in September. In particular, the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max may go on sale more than a week later, while the folding iPhone is likely to be sold in November or December.
