Paradoxical price of iPhone Air is cheaper than iPhone 15
(Dan Tri) - After announcing the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max product series, Apple has increased the prices of a series of older iPhones, including the iPhone Air and iPhone 15.
On Apple's online store, the price of iPhone Air 256GB version increased by 3 million VND compared to before, to 35 million VND. Versions with higher memory capacity such as 512GB and 1TB also increased to VND 41.5 million and VND 54.5 million, respectively.

However, the price of iPhone Air at dealers has almost no change compared to before. At many retail systems, iPhone Air is still sold at a price of 23 million VND for the 256GB version and 29 million VND for the 512GB version.
"The fact that the price of iPhone Air at dealers has not been adjusted to Apple's new price comes from the amount of inventory imported before the price adjustment. Besides, there is currently no new stock arriving at the new price level, so dealers do not need to immediately adjust the selling price.
In the near future, the price of iPhone Air may change when new supplies are added. The specific adjustment level will depend on the import price and the supply situation in the market," Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Yen, Director of Apple products at Di Dong Viet, shared.
Regarding this issue, Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, communications representative of CellphoneS system, said that the iPhone Air price is being gradually adjusted by the system so that customers can accept the price increase from the company.
"This is still a special product and attracts a part of users who love the experience. However, certainly in the future the selling price of iPhone Air will be gradually adjusted to increase closer to the adjusted price from the company," Mr. Huy added.
In contrast to the iPhone Air, the iPhone 15 is no longer sold by Apple on its official website in the Vietnamese market. However, this product is still sold through the company's authorized dealers.
The price of iPhone 15 is also adjusted up according to Apple's general policy. Specifically, iPhone 15 is being offered by dealers at a price of 22 million VND for the 128GB version, an increase of 4 million VND compared to before. The 256GB version also increased to 25 million VND.

It can be seen that, considering the same 256GB memory version, the price of iPhone Air is even cheaper than iPhone 15. Worth mentioning, iPhone Air is inherently a product line positioned in the high-end segment and has only been launched for a year.
In contrast, the iPhone 15 was initially a standard model aimed at popular and mid-range users. This product line was introduced by Apple in September 2023 and was even discontinued by the company in many markets after announcing the iPhone 17 generation in September 2025.
In fact, iPhone Air has not received too much attention from Vietnamese users since its launch. This causes product prices to continuously decrease and become Apple's fastest depreciating device in the past year.
