Nokia 300 Charge - "brick" phone and backup charger

(Dan Tri) - HMD launched Nokia 300 Charge, a popular phone model with a 3,700mAh battery, supporting charging for other devices with a capacity of 10W.

While smartphones are increasingly integrating more features, HMD - the Finnish company that owns the Nokia brand - continues to exploit the popular phone segment with the Nokia 300 Charge.

The model has a familiar "brick" design, aimed at users who need a basic device, long battery life or a secondary phone.

Nokia 300 Charge has a 2.4 inch color screen, QVGA resolution (320x240). The device uses Unisoc SC6531E chip, 4MB RAM and 4MB internal memory, supports external memory card with maximum capacity of 32GB. The rear camera has a resolution of 0.08 megapixels.

The device runs on the Series 30+ platform, supporting some basic features such as web browsing, weather forecasting and pre-installed games.

The most notable point is the removable 3,700mAh battery. According to HMD, the Nokia 300 Charge has a continuous talk time of 37.9 hours and a standby time of more than 40 days.

Not only used to provide power for the device itself, this battery can also be used as a backup charging source for other devices. HMD comes with cables that support USB-C, Micro USB and USB-A, with a maximum charging capacity of 10W.

This power level cannot be compared to current fast chargers on smartphones, but can be useful in situations where an emergency charge for a phone or other device is needed.

Nokia 300 Charge also has a built-in flashlight on the top edge. HMD says this flashlight is 4 times brighter than the flashlights on other Nokia popular phone models.

HMD plans to sell Nokia 300 Charge in some developing markets for about 32 USD, equivalent to 834,000 VND.

With a large capacity battery, simple design and the ability to charge other devices, the Nokia 300 Charge is aimed at a group of users who need a basic phone with a long lifespan or an auxiliary device to use in necessary situations.
