Nothing Phone (4a) hits shelves, what's behind the name Truc Trac?

(Dan Tri) - On the afternoon of August 20, Nothing announced the Nothing Phone (4a) phone line in the Vietnamese market. The product enters the market, competing with models in the mid-range segment.

Phone (4a) Series possesses Nothing's signature design language, with a transparent back that seamlessly blends with the camera system and Glyph Matrix on a metal frame.

The Phone (4a) Pro version has a monolithic metal frame, a streamlined flat surface and a thickness of 7.95mm. The device supports heat dissipation with a vapor chamber, and also meets IP65 water and dust resistance standards.

The device is equipped with a 3-camera system, including a 50MP main lens, a 50MP periscope lens that supports 3.5x optical zoom and an 8MP super wide-angle lens. The device's selfie camera has a resolution of 32 MP.

The device's screen is 6.83 inches in size and has 4K resolution. The device integrates Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, 12GB RAM and 256GB internal memory. The included battery has a capacity of 5,080mAh, supports 50W fast charging.

The Phone (4a) version retains its signature transparent design with a central camera cluster, multi-color recording indicator light and Glyph Bar on the back. The device meets IP64 standards and can be immersed in water at a depth of 25cm for up to 20 minutes.

This model has a 6.78 inch screen, Full HD + resolution. The product is equipped with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, optional RAM capacity of 8/12GB and internal memory of 256/512GB. The included battery has a capacity of 5,080mAh, supports 50W fast charging.

The Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro duo are pre-installed on the Nothing OS 4.1 platform, based on the Android 16 operating system. Nothing OS pursues a minimalist, intuitive philosophy, providing a smooth and natural experience.

Tại thị trường Việt Nam, Nothing Phone (4a) có giá bán khởi điểm từ 12 triệu đồng. Thiết bị cạnh tranh với một số đối thủ trong cùng phân khúc như Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro+, OPPO Reno15 F và Samsung Galaxy A57.

Meanwhile, the Phone (4a) Pro version is priced at 16 million VND. This product competes with competitors such as OPPO Reno15, Honor 600 or Xiaomi 15T Pro.

Nothing is a young British smartphone brand, known for its distinctive design and Nothing OS interface. The company also has a rather strange way of naming products, such as Phone (3), Phone (3a), Phone (3a) Pro or CMF Phone 2 Pro. Phone (4a) is Nothing's first genuine smartphone model sold in the Vietnamese market.
