Panasonic announced the roadmap to develop the SANYO air conditioner brand in Vietnam

(Dan Tri) - After 5 months since bringing SANYO back to the Vietnamese air conditioner market, Panasonic is gradually orienting the development of this brand, with the Comfort Series being the first step and positioning to focus on the group of customers with practical needs.
Panasonic Vietnam brings the SANYO air conditioner brand back to the market
On March 25, Panasonic Vietnam announced to bring the SANYO air conditioner brand back to the market after many years of absence.
This comeback continues SANYO's long journey in the field of air conditioning. The brand was formed in Japan in 1947. In 1958, SANYO introduced the first air conditioner model. In 2011, SANYO became a wholly owned subsidiary of Panasonic and operations were restructured within the Panasonic system from 2012.

In 2026, SANYO air conditioners are developed and operated under the direct management of Panasonic. The brand's new direction focuses on young users, prioritizing minimalist design, practical features and user experience.
Instead of making users have to consider too many options or complicated operations, SANYO aims for the spirit of "comfort is simple": technology that is just enough for daily necessities, easy to use and has an accessible price.
Comfort Series: The first step

Comfort Series is the first product line introduced when SANYO air conditioners return to the Vietnamese market.
The product line is built around common needs when using air conditioning, cooling quickly when needed, sending airflow to many locations in the room, maintaining a quiet space when resting and supporting more efficient use of electricity.
Powerful Mode supports accelerated cooling when users need to quickly bring the room to a comfortable state, Wide Flap expands the airflow distribution range, Quiet Mode is aimed at times when noise needs to be limited, while Sleep Mode helps maintain comfort when using air conditioning at night.
Features are arranged in an intuitive, easy-to-access manner. This is also how SANYO demonstrates the product philosophy of the Comfort Series: users do not need to make many complicated operations or choices to get the necessary comfort.
The exterior design also follows this spirit with a compact design, minimalist lines and easy combination with many modern living spaces.
Distribution and after-sales system
In Vietnam, SANYO is developed on the foundation of Panasonic's existing distribution system, after-sales service and management process.
With air conditioning, the user experience is not just at the time of purchasing the product. Access to warranty, maintenance and technical support services during the period of use is also an important part.
This platform helps SANYO gradually expand its ability to reach users, while maintaining the necessary support throughout the product use process.
Development orientation in Vietnam
SANYO's orientation in Vietnam is not only about bringing a familiar brand back to the market, but the brand's new image is built closer to the young generation of users: promoting practicality, loving neat design and wanting technology products that are easy to use in daily life.
The message "Stay Cool, Stay You - True cool, true quality" was also developed from this spirit, comfort does not necessarily come from a complex system of many optional buttons. The product needs to fulfill the needs of users regularly, while also being suitable for their lifestyle and personal space.
Comfort Series is the first step for SANYO to concretize that direction in Vietnam, with minimalist design, essential features, intuitive use and accessible price.
In the coming time, Panasonic plans to continue developing SANYO on the foundation of Japanese quality, distribution system and after-sales service in Vietnam. Thereby, the brand aims to become a closer choice to a new generation of users looking for comfort in a simple and practical way.

Committed to Japanese quality
The "comfort is simple" orientation of SANYO air conditioners is not only reflected in the choice of features or product design. Behind that experience is Panasonic's quality management system, from production at a specialized factory managed by Panasonic in Malaysia to after-sales service in Vietnam.
With the Comfort Series, SANYO begins a new phase of development with products that focus on essential needs, are easy to use and have accessible prices. At the same time, quality requirements continue to be maintained throughout the development, production and user support process.
This is also the foundation for SANYO to gradually rebuild its presence in Vietnam, not only with a familiar name but with products that are more suitable to the needs and ways of using air conditioners of today's users.
