Pulsar Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition: gaming mouse with Noctua fan, 73g, polling rate 8KHz, 500mAh battery
Pulsar has just introduced Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition, a wireless gaming mouse model that integrates the Noctua NF-A4x10 5V PWM fan right inside the mouse body, aimed at gamers who play for a long time and need a cool, stable grip.
Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition uses a composite carbon shell with a hole-drilled design to increase air circulation, but still maintains a weight of only about 73g, even though inside is a cooling fan system and a 500 mAh battery used for both mouse and fan. The mouse size is average with a length of about 121.7mm, width 66.5mm and height 43.3mm, optimized for right-handed users.
The heart of the cooling system is the Noctua NF-A4x10 5V PWM fan, which is famous in the PC world for its ability to create even airflow, quiet operation and high durability. On the F01, the fan is controlled by PWM, increasing speed only when needed to limit noise, while also blowing air through the mouse body and holes in the case to reduce heat under the palm, making the mouse feel more comfortable during long gaming sessions. Users can turn on/off or increase or decrease the fan speed directly with a key combination right on the mouse, without having to take their hands off or exit the game.
The mouse uses Pulsar optical switches with an estimated durability of 100 million clicks, completely eliminating double-clicks over time. The scroll wheel is made from alloy for increased durability and responsive feel. The design is ergonomically designed for the right hand, the curves on the mouse body are fine-tuned to increase grip, reduce hand fatigue and maintain comfort over long periods of use.
The included LINK 8K receiver is both a wireless receiver and a hardware control hub. Users can quickly adjust DPI, signal speed, fan configuration and switch profiles directly with the button on the dongle, with real-time status LEDs, limiting dependence on software.
When deep customization is needed, Pulsar provides the Bibimbap Web Software tool that allows you to configure the mouse right in the browser: adjust DPI, polling signal refresh rate, LOD, fan speed, button assignments, macros and other performance settings without having to install traditional drivers. The internal 500 mAh battery powers both the mouse and the Noctua fan. Actual duration will vary based on usage, polling level, fan speed, and usage habits. Users can turn off the fan to extend battery life, or keep the fan running continuously if the priority is to feel cool when playing for a long time. In the product box, Pulsar includes a Feinmann x Noctua F01 mouse, LINK 8K receiver and USB-C cord to charge or use the mouse in wired mode when needed.
The Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition retails for $179.95 on the Pulsar Gaming Gears site, requiring a computer with a USB port, Windows, macOS or Linux operating system, an Internet connection to download the software, and if you want to take advantage of 8,000 Hz polling via dongle, the device needs an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 CPU or higher and a USB 3.0 port.
