At the conference "Information security in the AI era", expert Hieu PC will share the risks users may encounter when using AI, the Internet and connected devices, and how to identify and prevent them. AI đang thay đổi nhanh cách con người tìm kiếm thông tin, làm việc và tương tác trên môi trường số. Along with new utilities, this technology also creates more ways for bad guys to spoof, scam and exploit data. According to the World Economic Forum's Global Cybersecurity Outlook 2026, 94% of leaders surveyed believe that AI will be the biggest impact factor on cybersecurity in 2026. 87% identified AI-related vulnerabilities as the fastest growing cybersecurity risk group in 2025. Data leaks related to generative AI were also identified by 34% of survey participants as one of the top concerns. For users, these risks can start with very familiar actions such as clicking on a link, logging into a platform, providing personal information or downloading a file. As AI can create text, images and interactions that look increasingly human-like, it may also become more difficult to recognize fake content or a suspicious invitation. Forms of fraud therefore do not only rely on old tricks but can be supported by new technology. Not only appearing in online applications, AI is also being integrated into many connected devices and systems. Camera, thiết bị nhà thông minh, cảm biến hay các hệ thống IoT có thể thu thập và truyền tải dữ liệu qua mạng. When AI is combined with IoT in AIoT systems, data protection and control of connection points become an important part of the information security problem. In Vietnam, information security risks are also placing greater demands on both users and organizations. According to the research report and cyber security survey in Vietnam in 2025 by the Technology Department of the National Cyber Security Association, domestic information systems face about 552,000 cyber attacks in the year, based on a survey of more than 5,300 agencies, organizations and businesses. The above issues will be put into practical situations at the conference "Information Security in the AI Era" taking place on October 11 in Hanoi. At the program, Ngo Minh Hieu (Hieu PC), high-tech cybercrime investigation expert at TRM Labs and founder of ChongLuaDao.vn, will directly share about the risks users may encounter in the digital environment. The content focuses on issues users may encounter in practice such as identifying forms of fraud, protecting personal data, preventing information theft and handling when detecting unusual signs. The program also updates a number of issues related to Blockchain, AI and changes in the connection environment. The workshop targets situations close to daily technology usage habits. Attendees can ask questions directly to experts about cases they have encountered or risks they are concerned about. Previously, a series of information security seminars held in Hanoi, Da Nang, Can Tho and Ho Chi Minh City in 2025 attracted nearly 1,000 attendees. This year, the program continues to focus on changes in the digital environment under the impact of AI. The conference "Information security in the AI era" took place on October 11 at FPT Tower, Hanoi. The event is free to attend and is for those interested in information security, AI, technology and data protection issues in the digital environment. Interested readers can register to attend here.
