Samsung launches Galaxy Tab S12 series, priced from 34.99 million VND

(Dan Tri) - Galaxy Tab S12 series includes two versions Tab S12 Ultra and Tab S12+, upgraded in performance, screen, battery and artificial intelligence features.

Samsung introduces the Galaxy Tab S12 series including two versions Tab S12 Ultra and Tab S12+. The product is expected to open for sale from October 7 in some markets, prices in Vietnam are from 39.99 million VND and 34.99 million VND respectively.

Tab S12 Ultra has a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen, resolution of 2,960 x 1,848 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 5.1mm thick and weighs from 692g. Tab S12+ has a 12.6-inch screen, 2,800 x 1,752 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 5.3mm thick and weighs from 553g. Both have a maximum brightness of 1,600nit.

The duo uses MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, manufactured on 3nm process. According to Samsung, NPU, CPU and GPU performance increased by up to 61%, 19% and 17% respectively compared to the previous generation.

The Tab S12 Ultra has an 11,600mAh battery, while the Tab S12+ has a 10,600mAh battery. Both support 45W charging. Video playback time as announced by Samsung is 23 hours and 21 hours respectively.

The devices meet IP68 standards, support microSD cards up to 2TB and Samsung commits to up to 7 generations of operating system upgrades and security updates. The device runs Android 17, One UI 9 interface, integrates Galaxy AI and comes with an S Pen.

Galaxy Tab S12 series also comes pre-installed with Adobe Photoshop. According to Samsung, this is the first time Photoshop for tablets is offered on Android. The application supports S Pen and some artificial AI tools.
