The headset's battery life reaches 10 hours continuously and expands to 40 hours when combined with the charging box. Upgraded fast charging technology, with 5 minutes of charging in the case for 2 hours of music playback, compared to 10 minutes on the old generation. The headset's charging box also supports Qi wireless charging.

OpenDots 2 retains the flexible clip on design, allowing users to listen to music while being aware of their surroundings. Compared to its predecessor, the JointArc frame is made of nickel-titanium alloy with adjusted curvature combined with a new shaped silicon layer. The change helps distribute the clamping force more evenly, maintaining a firm grip without causing ear pain when worn continuously for many hours. The water resistance standard has been raised from IP54 to IP57, helping users feel more secure when exercising in light rain or sweating a lot.
