Sony just launched the BRAVIA TV range and 2026 speakers in Vietnam: Impressed with True RGB and 100 inch model

Today Sony Electronics Vietnam has officially introduced the BRAVIA TV line and the 2026 generation BRAVIA Theater speaker system. Looking at this year's product catalog, I see that Sony brought a total of 15 TV models with sizes ranging from 43 to 100 inches, accompanied by a series of new soundbars and subwoofers that are quite promising for those who want to upgrade their home movie room.

The point I find most notable this time is the True RGB technology appearing on the high-end duo BRAVIA 9 II and BRAVIA 7 II. Listening to Sony share, they have had a journey of researching RGB display technology for more than two decades, starting with the QUALIA 005 model launched in 2004.

In terms of features, the BRAVIA 9 II and 7 II duo are equipped with Twitter-Wide Angle Pro viewing angle technology, My Cinema image optimization feature, Ambient Optimization and popular audio and visual standards such as Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, DTS and IMAX Enhanced. The most advanced version, BRAVIA 9 II, also has an Immersive Black Screen Pro panel that helps reduce light reflection in the room and an Acoustic Multi-Audio+ ceiling tweeter system.

Besides the high-end segment, Sony also expands the large-screen experience for families with the BRAVIA 3 II series, most notably the version up to 100 inches in size. This TV model uses the AI-integrated XR Processor, XR Triluminos Pro color technology and fully supports features for you to play games or watch sports such as HDMI 2.1, VRR or Motionflow XR 960. I think this will be a reasonable choice for those who want to upgrade their living room space into a large entertainment center while still retaining Sony's typical display quality.

Along with the image is the BRAVIA Theater sound ecosystem. This year, the focus is on the BRAVIA Theater Trio wireless home theater set with a configuration of three speakers left, right, and center to help expand the soundstage. This set has 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology that simulates up to 24 virtual speakers. When combined with Theater Sub 9 subwoofers and Theater Rear 9 rear speakers, it is considered a complete package for large movie rooms.

There is also a more compact bar speaker, the BRAVIA Theater Bar 7, which has a system of 9 audio outputs, combined with Sub 7. Sony also added the Direct Connect feature to support connecting the TV directly to the subwoofer or rear speakers without going through the bar speakers, and the Dual Subwoofer feature allows connecting two subwoofers at the same time to better fill large rooms.
