TECNO launches POVA 8 Pro limited edition Tonino Lamborghini at IFA 2026

At IFA 2026, TECNO has just introduced the limited edition POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini. To avoid confusion, this is a lifestyle brand founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini's son, not the supercar company Automobili Lamborghini of the Volkswagen Group. Personally, I find that phone collaboration projects of this type often easily go down the path of just printing a logo, but this device's appearance is quite methodical.
Sporty appearance with LED strip and secondary screen on the back
Unlike the standard version, this limited edition is only available in black and red. The back of the device is finished in two stacked layers with hexagonal patterns that can change color according to the angle of light, giving a much more visual depth than flat decal printing. Running along the middle of the back is a red Pulse Line light strip that glows when the power is turned on.

The triangular camera cluster has a prominent red border, inside is integrated a small LED matrix screen called Alive Matrix to display the letter L, startup effects and status messages specific to the collaboration. The internal HiOS 16 interface has also been customized in a uniform black and red color scheme. Despite its muscular style, the device still maintains a thinness of 7.39 mm, weighs about 189g, uses Gorilla Glass 7i and meets IP68 and IP69K water and dust resistance standards.

Mid-range configuration, large 6,500 mAh battery and moderate price difference
Regarding internal hardware, the device shares the same parameters with the standard POVA 8 Pro. The front is a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution, supporting 144Hz refresh rate and maximum brightness of 4,500 nits. The operating configuration is powered by the 4nm Dimensity 7400 Ultimate processor, accompanied by a P1 secondary graphics chip for frame interpolation when playing games. The main camera uses a Sony LYTIA 700C sensor with 50MP resolution with OIS optical image stabilization.

The point I evaluate most realistically is that TECNO still managed to put a 6,500 mAh battery into a thin body, supports 45W charging and has a direct bypass charging power supply feature to reduce heat when plugged in while playing games.

Currently, the product does not have a schedule to arrive in the Vietnamese market. Do you think this Tonino Lamborghini color scheme looks pleasing to the eye?
