My son asked me to buy Japanese music CDs in Tokyo

While I was in Japan, my son said that if I found a place that sold CDs, I would buy him some Tatsuro Yamashita's music. She likes this guy's music but he's anti streaming so she can only buy CDs and Vinyl. I bought CDs because they were easy to carry and buying a portable CD player was also easy. When asked for a CD Player, Mr. Kieu Thanh Tung gave him a Kenwood CD player, but somehow it didn't make sound. Thanks to Khanh 3kshop for lending me the FiiO head to try it out, the DM15 R2R head is very good.

Tower Records is right in the heart of bustling Shibuya.

No music no life.

The entire multi-story building sells all kinds of different music. Not many places in the world still retain musical culture like Japan

CD players were also sold a lot, but at that time I was planning to go back to Vietnam to buy them.

The Kenwood machine Mr. Tung gave me, it still rotates but makes no sound.

FiiO DM15 R2F Khanh 3kshop loaned it to try. Maybe I decided to give up on this player because of the old Japanese CD player because my son took this player to the US to use, so the new one is probably better.

3 music discs by Tatsuro Yamashita

My child listens with Audeze LCD-i3 headphones that were recently given to him by the company. Let's tell this story later

The front control buttons of FiiO DM15 R2R.

Turn the volume knob

The machine is designed with a see-through top surface to see the rotating disc inside

Open the lid and the machine stops, it has a switch.

CDs are now considered a toy, but more people listen to music through apps and streams.

Size and design of music player and music disc

Mobile devices can listen anywhere.

Newer machines have all the features

It takes about 10 years for CDs to explode in Vietnam and then disappear.
