ShinFlow air conditioner brand introduces to the Vietnamese market: Has electricity-saving AI, pretty good warranty

I just went to see an event about a brand new air conditioner brand that has officially chosen Vietnam as a strategic market to enter Southeast Asia. This company is called ShinFlow, their launch event was just held in Phu Quoc on July 4, 2026. Usually when I hear a new name appearing in the refrigeration market, I'm always curious about where they come from and what technology they bring to compete with the current giants. Through researching documents, I see that this brand was developed on the research foundation of the parent company's Japan ShinFlow R&D Center, while the products are manufactured directly at a system of 7 advanced factories in Thailand.

The throughout design philosophy that they emphasize is human-centered technology, an approach that I think is quite familiar but always necessary for household appliances that serve daily life.

What technologies does the I-Series Smart Inverter air conditioner line have?

The highlight of this launch is the new generation air conditioner line called I-Series Smart Inverter with an air flow message built specifically for users. This model integrates Smart Inverter technology with many breakthroughs and a series of supporting features that I find quite practical for the actual usage needs of modern families.

The first notable point is the AI ECO energy saving mode. According to information from tests published by the company, this technology can help save up to 40% of power consumption without affecting the cooling performance of the machine.

The operating mechanism of AI ECO is to automatically optimize energy consumption based on data collected about room conditions, environmental temperature and actual family usage habits to maintain maximum comfort. I think in the context of electricity bills during the hot season, which is always a constant worry, optimizing with AI like this is a very real competitive point.

Besides saving electricity, this model also has a smart airflow control feature called Human-Sensing Airflow. The machine will automatically adjust the wind direction based on the ability to identify the user's position in the room. In addition, the device supports Wi-Fi connection for remote control and voice control, operates super quietly, integrates UVC disinfection technology and an advanced air filtration system.

Customization of features for each local country

A nice detail that I noticed is that ShinFlow does not provide the same feature configuration for all countries, they make adjustments according to the specific needs of each market.

In the Vietnamese market, the I-Series will focus strongly on features including AI ECO power saving mode, smart control via Wi-Fi/voice and UVC disinfection technology to ensure better indoor air quality and more evenly distributed airflow. In my opinion, the focus on disinfecting and saving electricity is very consistent with the concerns about air pollution and living costs of urban users in Vietnam today.

Meanwhile, in neighboring countries, the configuration has changed slightly to suit local people. For example, in Malaysia, the company is promoting the Human-Sensing user recognition feature in addition to AI ECO, voice control and UVC technology.

In Thailand, the product line is equipped with Human-Sensing, AI ECO, voice recognition & Wi-Fi features, Quiet Air ultra-quiet operating mode, PM2.5 fine dust filter and optimized design for easier installation and maintenance to meet the needs of urban families.

After-sales policy and long-term goals in Vietnam

For a new brand entering the market, what makes me and certainly many others hesitant the most is the after-sales service, warranty speed and replacement parts. In this regard, ShinFlow offers a warranty policy in Vietnam that is somewhat longer and more generous than the other two countries in the region.

Specifically in our country, the company applies a 1-for-1 error policy within 2 years, a 4-year warranty for the entire machine and up to 12 years for the compressor. In comparison, in Malaysia they offer 365-day renewal, 3-year warranty for the machine, 4 years for the PCB board and 10 years for the compressor. In Thailand, there is a 365-day peace of mind renewal, a 5-year warranty for the machine and a 10-year warranty for the compressor. The brand representative said they are focusing on building a nationwide service network with transparent processes, fast response speed and a team of professional technicians. I think this is a necessary step to build initial trust with Vietnamese consumers.

Regarding long-term vision, ShinFlow aims to enter the group of air conditioner brands trusted by Southeast Asian consumers in the next 3 to 5 years. The company shares that its ambition is not only aimed at pure sales growth but wants to become a representative name for smart, energy-saving technology, contributing to promoting a sustainable green lifestyle. What do you think about this rookie in the air conditioning industry?
