New revelation about iPhone Air 2

(Dan Tri) - According to sources from MacRumors, iPhone Air 2 will have a design that is 7% thinner than its predecessor.
Specifically, the device thickness reaches 5.2mm, down 0.4mm compared to the previous generation. This number is similar to the thinness of the iPhone Duo when used in the open screen state.

Typically, thinner phones mean smaller batteries. However, leaked information revealed the opposite. According to Digital Chat Station, iPhone Air 2 will integrate a 3,500mAh battery, an 11% increase compared to iPhone Air.
Apple is said to be researching new screen technology that will allow the company to create thinner and brighter screen panels. Creating a thinner screen will help the company optimize components and save more space inside.
Not only that, the new technology also makes the display brighter, while not consuming more battery life. As a result, the device will use less energy.
A report from The Elec reveals that Apple will add an ultra-wide-angle lens to the iPhone Air 2. This move is intended to increase the photography experience and overcome the limitations of its predecessor.
It is expected that iPhone Air 2 will be announced in early 2027, at the same time as the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e duo.
