TinhteDIY: Don't rush to throw away old wooden furniture.

I just repaired an old stool. Because I love old wood so much, I rarely pass up such items.

This is the chair before repair. This reminds me of a detail in the movie Blade Runner 2049, in the future real wood will have a very high value.

Before that, I stopped by the old wooden furniture area in District 8 to find the above chair. Located on Pham The Hien street near Nguyen Van Cu bridge, there are many wooden shops like this.

Back to the chair, below are all the tools needed to repair it.

I chose a piece of pine wood to cover it instead of choosing the same color wood to repair the dike.

Instead of joining straight lines, I used a miter saw to make zigzag cuts for a fancy look. I used a planer and an angle grinder to flatten the thicker part of the chair.

This is the result. Even though wooden items are old and inconsistent... if they are exploited, they will be a very interesting source of raw materials for creativity, with a unique quality that is difficult to mix.
