Experience the ANJIER T4 water purifier: Pour cold brew with syrup into the filter and still get clear water

Delicately located in alley 351 Le Van Sy street, right next to the Nhieu Loc canal, so every time a water purifier comes to the office, I'm inspired to take canal water and test it to see how effective it actually is. This ANJIER T4 desktop water purifier is a relatively new brand to me. The machine has a modular box design that looks quite modern, has a touch screen on top and the special feature is that there is absolutely no need to connect complicated supply and discharge wires.

To see how strong the processing capabilities of the two inner filter cores are, I decided to challenge this machine with the most difficult water sources, from turbid canal water, concentrated cold brew coffee to even sweet syrup water.

Scoop water from Nhieu Loc canal and brew cold brew coffee to test the filter

To start the test, I carried a mug to the bank of Nhieu Loc canal to scoop up a bucket of water full of mud and cloudy yellow and poured it straight into the water supply tank behind the machine. When plugged in, the internal pump system automatically sucks water and pushes it through two filter cores and then delivers clean water to the transparent tank in front. This process goes smoothly, the dirt clearly settles in the source tank and the water flowing to the front tank looks clear to the naked eye.

After that gentle foreplay, I threw away the canal water and moved on to another test. I took regular tap water and mixed it with a pot of concentrated cold brew coffee to create a cup of water with a dark cockroach color. At this time, the solution contained a lot of fine particles dissolved from coffee powder. I used a pen to measure the TDS total dissolved solids index and saw the number jumped to about 300 ppm.

All of this coffee water is poured into the rear tank and the machine begins the filtering cycle. The result surprised me when the water, after flowing through the filter system to the front tank, lost its brown color and became as transparent as bottled mineral water.

Decolorizes syrup and has the ability to completely separate odors

To further test the color separation and deodorizing ability of the activated carbon layer, I continued to do another test with bright red strawberry syrup. Ordinary syrup has a very persistent odor and red color that is very difficult to clean if only using a regular coarse filter. I mixed a fairly strong amount of syrup into tap water and then poured it into the water supply tank of ANJIER T4.

The dark red water after being sucked by the pump through two filters has been completely separated in color, the water flowing out of the faucet is pure and clear without any red light left. I chose to try the hot water mode of 75 degrees Celsius on the screen to pour a glass and drink to see if the sweetness and aroma of the syrup was mixed with the water.

In fact, the sip of warm water poured out was completely pure, no longer had the sweetness of sugar and the strong scent of strawberry syrup from before had also completely disappeared. This shows that the ROC reverse osmosis filter layer combined with the activated carbon core inside this machine works very effectively in adsorbing organic compounds and thoroughly deodorizing.

The ROC two-core system combines PAC with a flexible tank design

Inside ANJIER T4 is equipped with two main filter cores including PAC core and ROC reverse osmosis filter. Water from the source tank will pass through filter levels to retain coarse impurities, dirt, heavy metals, bacteria and toxic dissolved substances.

The ROC filtration mechanism here does not filter all the water at once, but only filters the purest water and sends it to the front tank. The remaining water will circulate around the membrane to wash away dirt and then discharge back to the rear tank. Therefore, after a period of filtering, the excess water in the back tank will concentrate more dirt, you just need to lift the tank to pour this waste water away and then add new water and you're done.

The two filter cores are located right in the middle of the machine's body. When you need to replace them, you just need to turn a slight corner to pull the cores out. You can do it yourself at home in a few dozen seconds without calling a technician.

The machine's independent modular design is something I am extremely satisfied with. The machine does not need any fixed water supply or exhaust pipes, it can be completely plugged in and used. The main water tank on the back and the pure water tank on the front both have convenient handles.

After the filter is full, the front tank can be lifted out and taken straight to the refrigerator to cool or brought to the desk or bedroom to pour water.

The touch screen on the lid visually displays the life of each filter element in percentage and actual TDS index. The sensor system is also very sensitive, whenever you lift the water bottle or put it in without the mount, the screen will flash a warning water drop icon immediately.

Four convenient temperature levels from making milk and tea to cooling and heating

Not stopping at just a simple water purifier, ANJIER T4 also integrates an instant water heater and a deep cooling system similar to a miniature refrigerator. On the touch panel, there are four pre-installed temperature modes but allows users to customize in great detail for each degree Celsius. The cold water mode allows the temperature to be adjusted from 6 to 13 degrees Celsius, pour out and immediately have a glass of cool water to quench your thirst on hot days without using ice cubes.

crystal-cuhiep-may-loc-nuoc-Anjier-t4-31.jpg

The milk mixing mode allows adjustment in the temperature range from 45 to 55 degrees Celsius, extremely convenient for families with small children who need to mix milk powder at the correct temperature at night without having to bother mixing boiling water with cold water.

crystal-cuhiep-may-loc-nuoc-Anjier-t4-36.jpg
crystal-cuhiep-may-loc-nuoc-Anjier-t4-36.jpg

The tea brewing mode allows you to adjust the temperature from 75 to 85 degrees Celsius to preserve the full flavor of the tea leaves without burning the tea, and the hot water mode allows you to push the temperature from 85 to 100 degrees Celsius to cook instant noodles or make coffee. Below the faucet is a tray to catch excess water fixed by a very smart suction magnet. Lift it out to clean gently, then bring it closer and it will tighten itself into the body of the machine, much more convenient than the previous type of easily broken plastic mount.

Note the sound of the cooling fan and experience no need to install pipes

An important point that you need to keep in mind when using this machine is the noise problem of the cooling fan. Because the machine integrates a deep cooling compressor, it is required to have a fan blowing hot air out to cool the system.

crystal-cuhiep-may-loc-nuoc-Anjier-t4-02.jpg
crystal-cuhiep-may-loc-nuoc-Anjier-t4-02.jpg

When the machine activates the water cooling cycle, the cooling fan will rotate and the measured noise level is about 58 dB. This sound level if you place the device in the living room, dining table or kitchen area is completely normal and does not cause discomfort, but if you intend to place the device at the head of the bed in a quiet bedroom, the sound of the fan spinning may be a bit noticeable.

crystal-cuhiep-may-loc-nuoc-Anjier-t4-38.jpg

Overall, ANJIER T4 is a very practical desktop water purifier solution for those who live in apartments, rented houses or offices and are afraid of drilling walls or chiseling sinks for cumbersome plumbing.

The machine not only filters clean, pure water but also has all hot and cold temperature levels to serve from making milk, making tea to drinking cold water right away. The ability to filter color, deodorize and handle actual dirt through tests with canal water, coffee and syrup all gave very convincing results. Do you think a multi-purpose desktop water purifier like this that doesn't require installing pipes is worth equipping your family with? Those interested in the product can see more here.
