Controversy about folding screen iPhone before launch date
(Dan Tri) - In a post on the social network Twitter, Evan Blass account shared a number of images of different color versions on the folding screen iPhone.
Evan Blass is known as one of the people who regularly reveals accurate leaked information about Apple products before their launch. Notably, the posted image shows that the folding iPhone (possibly named iPhone Fold or iPhone Ultra) will have 3 different color versions, including white, dark gray and red.

Not long after the post appeared, writer Mark Gurman from Bloomberg voiced doubts about the authenticity of these images.
"This is not an actual image of a folding screen iPhone. Furthermore, this device does not have red or green color options," Gurman shared.
According to Mark Gurman, for the foldable iPhone product line, Apple plans to stay away from flashy colors and stick to traditional tones like space gray and white.
In contrast, some previously leaked information suggested that the folding iPhone would not offer a black color option. Instead, the company will release a dark color version, Indigo.
According to the plan, Apple will hold an event to launch a series of new products at 10:00 a.m. on September 9 (Pacific time), which is 0:00 a.m. on September 10 (Vietnam time). Here, the company will announce the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and its first folding screen iPhone.
According to MacRumors, the folding iPhone will have a screen of about 7.8 inches when unfolded. This size is equivalent to the screen on the iPad mini model. The selfie camera will be placed in the upper left corner of the screen.
The device's external screen is 5.5 inches in size. This screen has a shorter and more square ratio than current iPhones. This design is similar to the design of a passport.

These panels are expected to use Color Filter on Encapsulation (CoE) technology, along with Samsung Display's latest M16 OLED material set. The M16 material structure promises improvements in brightness, color performance, longevity and energy efficiency compared to previous generations.
In a post on social network Weibo, the account Digital Chat Station said that the folding screen iPhone will be equipped with 2 batteries. The rated battery capacity of these two batteries is 1,921mAh and 2,962mAh respectively. Accordingly, the total battery capacity of the device reaches 4,883mAh.
This dual battery design is suitable for smartphone models with horizontal folding screens. Compared to competitors on the market, the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold has a total battery capacity of 5,015mAh, while the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has a capacity of 4,400mAh.
