HONOR 600 Lite in hand: Thin and light design, diverse AI features, 108 MP camera, large 6,520 mAh battery

HONOR 600 Lite is a member of the HONOR 600 Series smartphone line launched in the Vietnamese market in mid-June 2026. I believe that most users will like HONOR 600 or HONOR 600 Pro, but I have a better impression of HONOR 600 Lite.

Overview of appearance, design details

Overall, HONOR 600 Lite has a 6.6-inch screen with a flat design. The border surrounding the screen is evenly thin with a specific figure of 1.23 mm.

The 6.6 inch screen size of HONOR 600 Lite is almost similar to some competitors in the same segment such as Samsung Galaxy A37 5G (6.7 inches), POCO X8 Pro (6.59 inches), ...

I am very impressed with the thinness of the border surrounding the screen of the HONOR 600 Lite. The frame of the HONOR 600 Lite uses metal material with a flat design with four curved corners. For me, this is a familiar frame design that has appeared on many current smartphone models.

As a person who often has sweaty hands, I like smartphones with rough-finished frames like the HONOR 600 Lite, which limits fingerprints.

The top of the device has two antenna strips.

The bottom edge of the HONOR 600 Lite is where the SIM tray, two antenna strips, recording mic, USB-C charging port and external speaker are located.

The right side of the device has a volume up/down key, a power key, a physical button to assign any function and two antenna bands.

Rarely do any competitors in the same segment of HONOR 600 Lite own a separate physical button to assign functions. HONOR calls this the AI Button. The back of the HONOR 600 Lite also has a flat design similar to the screen and this area is finished in a smooth texture, creating a very pleasant feeling to the touch.

I like the color synchronization between the main camera cluster and the back of the HONOR 600 Lite.

The edge protecting the camera lens is finished in glossy shape to create a highlight for the device. When I first held the HONOR 600 Lite in my hand, what impressed me about the device was its thinness and lightness. This smartphone has a thickness of 7.34 mm and a weight of 180 g, impressive parameters compared to competitors in the same segment such as POCO X8 Pro (8.38 mm | 201.47 g), REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G (7.96 mm | 210 g), realme 16T (8.88 mm | 224 g).

When I look at the device horizontally, the HONOR 600 Lite looks very thin. HONOR 600 Lite also provides a comfortable grip thanks to the four corners of the device being heavily curved, not causing stress on the palm of the hand. Because the device weighs only 180g, I don't feel tired when using the device for a long time to watch short videos (at least 1 hour or more).

I like the feeling of holding HONOR 600 Lite. Talking quickly about the AI Button experience on HONOR 600 Lite, the manufacturer shares that users can take advantage of this key to operate when taking photos. However, I find it more convenient to operate the touch screen on the device screen. Therefore, I set up an AI Button to open the software I often use.

I took advantage of the AI Button on the HONOR 600 Lite to open the Chrome application instead of manipulating the key when taking photos. Durability is one of the factors that HONOR is very confident about in their products and this is no exception with the HONOR 600 Lite. The device is 26% more resistant to cracking than its predecessor HONOR 400 Lite, IP66 dust and water resistant, and has 5-star SGS certification for drop and impact protection,...

At the time I wrote this article, Saigon entered the rainy season. The fact that the HONOR 600 Lite is water resistant somewhat helps me feel secure in using the device. The above gives me peace of mind during daily use, especially in cases where I accidentally drop the device. However, I also do not support you intentionally dropping or soaking the device in water to test its durability!

Configuration parameters

I will quickly review the configuration parameters of HONOR 600 Lite according to information from the manufacturer:

• Main camera: 108 MP f/1.75. • Ultra wide-angle camera: 5 MP f/2.2.

HONOR 600 Lite is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chip and pre-installed MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.

A few highlights

In this section, I quickly review the outstanding elements of HONOR 600 Lite as shared by the manufacturer combined with personal experience. Anyway, I've only had the HONOR 600 Lite in my hands for a few days so I can't fully understand the product. 1. Diverse AI features: HONOR 600 Lite is integrated with many AI features to serve users' work and life such as: AI Settings Agent, AI Summary, AI Screenshot, AI Memory,... Among them, I really like the feature of creating videos from still images (AI Image to Video 2.0) because of its simplicity in use. I just need to choose an available model, choose a suitable photo and wait for the results.

To use the function to create videos from still photos, we need to go to Create in the Gallery application and then select Image to video. The time it takes for the system to produce results will depend on the photo and video type you choose. Besides, the system also shares the information "Try for free for a limited time". I tried creating a short video from a still image and the results looked good.

Main camera delivers quality photos: Along with AI features, HONOR 600 Lite also stands out with a high-resolution main camera of up to 108 MP. In my opinion, the quality of photos taken from the main camera of the HONOR 600 Lite has clear details and good colors. Besides, the device also has a variety of focal lengths of 24 mm (1x), 48 mm (2x) and 72 mm (3x) to help users have many options when taking photos.

Here are a few photos I took with the HONOR 600 Lite. 3. Large battery capacity of 6,520 mAh: Battery life is also a factor that HONOR is confident about with HONOR 600 Lite. This smartphone is equipped with a 6,520 mAh battery with a durability of up to 6 years.

Here are some highlights of the battery life of the HONOR 600 Lite. Source: HONOR.
