VinFast launches two completely new electric motorbike models: Kinet and Kyo, priced from 31.9 million VND

VinFast has just officially introduced two new generation electric motorbike models, Kinet and Kyo, accompanied by two methods of using batteries: buying a motorbike with a battery or renting a battery to exchange at public battery exchange stations. These two completely new car models aim to improve the usage experience, while focusing highly on personalization, as well as convenience and utility like mid-range - near-high-end gasoline car models. The notable point is that both are designed to properly address the barriers that make users hesitant about electric vehicles: short distances, long charging times, or unsuitable housing infrastructure for charging vehicles at home. Kinet reaches a maximum speed of 90km/h — equal to many gasoline-powered cars. Kyo can travel up to 160km per charge, enough for a whole week for people working short distances in the city. Both are IP67 waterproof and replace a full battery in just a few minutes at the station, instead of waiting for a charge.

VinFast Kinet - Sporty, strong

Kinet is positioned as an electric motorbike model that favors the feeling of driving, with an angular design and many cut lines. The front light cluster uses LED Projector bulbs. The car uses 14-inch rims, 90/90-14 front tires and 120/70-14 rear tires.

The car uses an In-hub engine with a maximum capacity of 5,200W (nominal capacity 3,000W), according to the company's announcement, it can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in under 6 seconds, with a maximum speed of 90 km/h. When installing two LFP batteries with a capacity of 1.5 kWh each, the maximum travel distance as announced is 145 km after a full charge, under standard testing conditions.

VinFast Kyo - Elegant, flexible

Unlike Kinet, Kyo pursues a softer design language, the front of the car has a classic look, LED Projector lights combined with a chrome V logo.

Kyo's length x width x height dimensions are 1,999 x 694 x 1,130 mm, wheelbase 1,360 mm, ground clearance 160 mm, seat height 785 mm. The weight of the battery is about 104 kg - significantly lighter than the Kinet, making the car easier to control in crowded travel conditions.

Kyo uses an In-hub motor with maximum capacity of 3,000W (nominal capacity of 1,800W), maximum speed of 64 km/h. When installing two batteries, the maximum travel distance as announced by the company is 160 km per full charge. The trunk has a capacity of 21 liters.

General equipment

Both models are equipped with a TFT screen, Smart Key, and connection to the VinFast e-Scooter application that allows GPS positioning, remote vehicle finding, and setting up a safe operating zone.
