Xiaomi 18 Pro is forecast to increase in price by 20%

According to Digital Chat Station channel, Xiaomi's new generation high-end phone model is expected to have a starting price of around 6,000 yuan (882 USD), an increase of 20% compared to its predecessor. If accurate, this will be the strongest price increase of the Chinese smartphone brand. Previously, Xiaomi 17 Pro was launched in September 2025 with prices from 4,999 yuan (734 USD).

Android Authority said that the wave of price increases stemming from the artificial intelligence infrastructure fever is draining the supply of semiconductors, forcing component manufacturers to prioritize server hardware in data centers. As a result, the price of DRAM and NAND flash memory chips used for mobile devices is continuously pushed up. To preserve profit margins, smartphone companies are forced to pass on this additional cost to consumers.

Despite the sharp price increase, Xiaomi 18 Pro is expected to have worthy upgrades.
