iPhone 18 Pro still has a strange error causing the device to hang even though it has been upgraded to iOS 27.0.1

(Dan Tri) - Apple released iOS 27.0.1 update to fix the error that caused iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max to hang and restart automatically. However, many products continue to have errors after upgrading.
As Dan Tri reported, many iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max users experience a situation where the device may freeze and restart automatically when using Face ID to unlock a protected application on the device.
This situation does not appear to occur when users use Face ID to unlock the iPhone.
Apple later determined this was a software error, so it released the iOS 27.0.1 update to fix the problem. However, it seems that the error has not been completely fixed yet.
According to technology site TechDroider, after the iPhone 18 Pro upgraded to iOS 27.0.1, the device may still encounter errors, but not related to the Face ID sensor as before.

Specifically, when the user holds down their finger to move the position of a widget to another screen, the interface on the iPhone 18 Pro will flash continuously, then the screen will freeze and stop responding.
Many users have tried this and discovered the error occurred both on iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max.
When encountering this error, users cannot restart the device in the usual way because the touch screen does not respond when swiping to select restart, but is forced to press the volume key and power key on the iPhone to force restart.

In addition, TechDroider also discovered another error on the iOS 27.0.1 platform when using iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Accordingly, when users use iPhone 17 Pro Max (updated to iOS 27.0.1) to take a series of photos, one of them will appear a black square frame covering part of the photo. When users use the photo editing function on iOS, this black square will become larger and cover more of the photo.

Apple has not yet commented, but it is likely that the company will soon be forced to release an iOS update to fix these annoying problems.
